Think you found the Asian citrus psyllid or HLB symptoms on your tree.
If so, you play an important role in protecting citrus trees in California, as well as the ability of consumers to eat fresh, healthy and locally produced citrus. Use our zip code look-up service to find the County Agricultural Commissioner’s office in your area and ask to have your trees examined for the pest or call the California Department of Food and Agriculture hotline at 800/491-1899.
Use the zip code look-up service to find your local Agricultural Commissioner’s office and ask to have the leaves inspected for the disease. You can also call the California Department of Food and Agriculture hotline at 800/491-1899.
If it is determined that your tree has the psyllid, steps to eradicate the pest would take place, which may include using chemical and/or biological treatments. If your citrus tree tests positive for HLB, it will be removed in order to protect other citrus trees on your property and in your community. Every effort will be made to protect your citrus trees now and in the future. We must work together to preserve California citrus for future generations.
