What happens if my tree has the pest or the disease?
If it is determined that your tree has the psyllid, steps to eradicate the pest would take place, which may include using chemical and/or biological treatments. If your citrus tree tests positive for HLB, it will be removed in order to protect other citrus trees on your property and in your community. Every effort will be made to protect your citrus trees now and in the future. We must work together to preserve California citrus for future generations.
